What we collect

If you sign up for the field guide or our field notes, we collect your email address and the date and source of your signup. If you contact us directly, we keep that correspondence. That's it. We don't ask for your name, address, or phone number to receive the guide.

Our website may collect basic, aggregate visit statistics (pages viewed, general region, referring site). This is not tied to you personally.

How we use it

Your email address is used to send you the field guide you requested and occasional field notes about keeping working dogs healthy and gear that we've tested. When we begin selling products, we may tell you about them.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address with anyone. We do not send email on behalf of other companies.

Your consent and how to withdraw it

We only email people who asked us to. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately, and you can also email us and we'll remove you. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of your address solely to make sure we don't email you again.

Service providers

We use third-party services to send email and host this website. They process your information on our behalf and under their own privacy terms. We choose providers that do not sell customer data.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email us to:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Have your information deleted
• Opt out of all email

We'll act on those requests promptly and won't ask you to justify them.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects how we use your information, we'll update the date above and, where it matters, tell you by email.
